Once upon a time most of the bootlickers who support the American Gestapo (ICE) were in favor of open carry, especially as a precaution against an overstepping government. Anyone who remembers the name Philando Castile and the very cautious response from the NRA when that legal gun owner was murdered by the police knows this is bullshit, but it’s worth mentioning again here. Now those same people are gleefully supporting fascism and state sanctioned terrorism against innocent, hard-working people. It has never been about protecting rights or freedom or the constitution, or any of that nonsense they used to like to talk about. It was and still is all about retribution for their own personal frustrations and fears, and validation for their own personal cowardice and hatred. We need to organize. We need to be healthy. We need to exercise. We need to be strong. We need to study. We need to be serious. We need to check in on each other and stand with the vulnerable.
