Happy Birthday, Jack!

My son Jack is 5 today. For his birthday, we got him a case full of Dr. Who action figures, A Ghostbusters game for the wii, and a Buzz Lightyear doll. Jack is a real go-getter, and has been a great addition to Team Troxell. We think he has a bright future with the organization. We love you, buddy!

  3. Awesome: You're a good judge of character!

Elegant: I have an 8 year old too. It's really exciting to watch him become himself more and more. I'm honored to have such a pivotal part in his upbringing.

My kids and I just got into Dr. Who. I really like the 10th Doctor so far...David Tennant, I think?

I've heard Tom Baker mentioned a lot. I'm sure we'll get around to checking him out. We're almost caught up with the new series.

    I haven't seen the 11th guy yet.

  4. Happy birthday Jack, many happy returns. That's a fine name you have, thats a hero's name.

  5. One day, many years ago, my five year old step son Ross came to me cradling a dead sparrow in his hands. He said, "Fix it". I explained that the bird was dead and that I couldn't fix it. He replied, "Take it to Kevin"
I asked him, "Who is Kevin?" Ross rolled his eyes and patiently explained, "When you die, you go to Kevin. Then he fixes you and sends you back."

  6. Thanks, Lodo.

Steppenwolf: That story...The first part made my heart sink, and the second part made me laugh out loud. You've got the delivery down.

I like the idea of Jack as a hero's name.
