I think Obama wins on this issue either way. At least politically. If the Supreme's find the health care initiative unconstitutional, Obama can always tell his constituents, "Hey, I tried; actually got the legislation passed; but it was rejected." He'll no longer have to face the blowback from people who dont like it and really, without that issue,...what's the difference between Obama and Romney? In fact, even with it, they're pretty much the same thing. So Obama has nothing to lose on it.
Meanwhile, talk to any retiree and they all same the same thing, "a third of my bills are for health insurance."
In 2010 2.6 trillion dollars was spent on health care in the US. That buys a shitload of lobbyists. If you are under the impression that there will anything but minimal, cosmetic changes in healthcare in this country I got a single payer system I would love to sell ya. Until there is a complete collapse of the system there will be no real change. Sad but true........
Yes!
