Just collecting information here. As long as I have been alive, the capitalist class has been presenting made up cultural panics to lead working class people (who would otherwise vote in their own economic interest) to vote to keep the system ‘as is’, meaning the capitalists on the top and the working people on the bottom. I would like to assemble a list of all of these panics in one place. This is an opportunity for all of you history nerds to shine. I’ll get us started: 1. The Red Scare 2. The Satanic Panic 3. Sharia Law / The Caliphate 4. Trans Kids doing sports 5. Woke 6. DEI 7. Gay Marriage leading to humans marrying animals 8. White genocide 9. Criminal Immigrant Caravans 10. Trans people going to the bathroom 11. Immigrants ‘stealing our jobs’ 12. ‘Welfare Queens’ 13. Political Correctness 14. Cancel Culture Those are just off the top of the dome.
